Handy CD Ripper - ScreenShots - FreeDB Settings
Here you can change FreeDB connection settings. FreeDB stands for 'Free Compact Disc Database'. You can use it to retrieve disc information such as disc title, year and track titles.

The FreeDB connection can be made via TCP or HTTP protocol. Default FreeDB port for the TCP connection is 8880. Typically you won't need to change this. Default port for HTTP connection is 80.

You can also specify the FreeDB server address, 'freedb.freedb.org' is the default FreeDB address.

Finally, though you won't generally need to use proxies, Handy CD Ripper can be set up to use proxy servers. Proxy type may be Socks 4/5 or HTTP. 'Direct Connection' is the default value for this option.
